Take an Art Break, is an interactive art making program that is being piloted in the chemo infusion suites at the Markey Cancer Center. Patients and their visitors are encouraged to make art to reduce pain and stress. They can take their artwork home or display it in the lobby of the Whitney-Hendrickson building.
Do you want to use art to release stress, express yourself, and explore your creativity? Art therapy group classes for Markey patients and caregivers meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in room 306, Whitney-Hendrickson building. No art experience required, and classes are free of charge.
