About the author
Dr. James Liau’s mission is to provide the best comprehensive care for children and adults. Dr. Liau practices the complete spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He also specializes in pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgery and craniofacial surgery, focusing on comprehensive treatment of children with cleft lips and palates, congenital craniofacial deformities, as well as other more unique congenital problems requiring pediatric plastic surgery.
After graduating from medical school at UK, Dr. Liau went onto his internship at UC-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He returned to UK to complete a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency and then pursued his fellowship in pediatric reconstructive surgery and craniofacial surgery at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
