Biography

My name is Phillip A. Tibbs; I am an international authority on treatment of metastatic tumors to the brain and spine and specialize in the treatment of spinal disorders. I have served as President of the Kentucky Neurosurgical Society and the Southern Neurosurgical Society. My avocation is the study of history and I recently completed two terms on the Board of the Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation.

I am currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery of the University of Kentucky and Director of the Spine Center at the University of Kentucky.
