Dr. Dan Han is the Chief of University of Kentucky Neuropsychology Service’s Clinical Section, the Director of Neurobehavioral Studies at the UK Sports Medicine Research Institute, and an Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Han received his clinical psychology and neuropsychology training at the Adler School, University of Chicago Medical Center, and Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, followed by a 2-year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison's Charles Matthews Neuropsychology Laboratory.
Han is the past president of the Lexington Board of Brain Injury Alliance, and the founding member of the International Society of Neurogastronomy. He is the recipient of the Honor the Fallen Soldier Patriot Medallion by the Association of the U.S. Army, and the Founder’s Award by the International Society of Neurogastronomy. He is a funding recipient by the National Institute of Health and other federal and state mechanisms, foundational grants, and clinical trials, involving studies of brain-behavior relationships and curriculum development. Han is the Chair of the UK Concussion Taskforce, and is on the council of the Saddle Up Safely committee, UK Epilepsy Center, UK HealthCare Stroke Care Network, UK Stroke Leadership Council, Neurology Resident Training committee and the UK Physician Advisory Group.
