Zartash Gul, MD, received her medical degree from Dow Medical
College in Karachi, Pakistan. She then completed a
fellowship in hematology/oncology at Wayne State
University’s Karmanos Cancer Center, a premier
institution with NCI designation.
interests are leukemia, myelodysplasia and allogeneic
stem cell transplantation. Gul has been trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center to perform cord blood transplants and has a strong interest in doing alternative donor transplants for patients without a fully matched adult donor. She also has strong research
interests in improving immune suppression to better
combat graft-versus-host and improving patient
outcomes with allogeneic transplant.
Gul is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in hematology.
