Jonathan M. Feddock received his medical degree from the UK College of Medicine in Lexington. His clinical interests include breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, pediatric oncology and radiation oncology.
He is an acting member of the Radiation Oncology committee for the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) and NRG Oncology. Feddock also serves as chair of the Markey Cancer Center Research Audit Committee and is a member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee. He enrolls participants and serves as a site primary investigator for cooperative group trials, and he is the principal investigator for a Phase I trial for recurrent breast cancer.
His research interests include developing novel treatments for breast and gynecologic cancers, the development and education of Cesium-131 interstitial implants, narcotic/opiate abuse and dependency among cancer patients, and minimizing long-term toxicity from therapy in pediatric patients. He is actively involved with the Markey Cancer Foundation in fundraising. He also created and manages the Ironcology campaign, a unique fundraiser geared at combining his talents for racing Ironman-distance triathlons with cancer care.
